Same K9. Way easier to shop.
Over time, the K9 Shop store had become slow and hard to maintain. We redesigned the key pages, built a custom WordPress theme and moved the existing products and data onto a simpler setup.
The store had become slow and a pain to maintain.
Years of piled-up plugins and postponed updates. Some plugins depended on each other, product images did not always load and working in the admin was slow.
At the same time, the look and the shopping experience no longer matched the quality of the products K9 Shop is known for.

We kept the recognisable K9 character and reworked the navigation, the content layout and the path from the home page to the product.

The new design keeps the signature K9 yellow and black, with clearer navigation, easier-to-browse categories and simpler shopping on mobile and desktop.

Fewer plugins. Easier upkeep.
First we reworked the layout and design of the key pages, then built a custom WordPress theme with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP. What used to need several separate plugins now lives directly in the theme.
We moved the existing products, content and WooCommerce data into the new store and updated WordPress and WooCommerce.

The new store is clearer on mobile and desktop, the admin is faster and upkeep needs fewer plugins.
K9 Shop kept its existing products and data, but now runs on a cleaner, more stable foundation.
